Outback and Beyond is about living your dreams now rather than
later. One of the traps of living in
the twenty-first century is that it's easy to push your dreams off
into another place and time. Usually you do it so that you can
accumulate a mountain of cash or things that do not satisfy your
inner longings. You tell yourself that when you have enough
money, cars, houses, toys and things in your life, you finally will
be ready to live your dreams.
The
truth is just the opposite. Cars, houses, and all of your
accumulations become insurmountable barriers that keep you from your dreams. Of course, you
need a certain amount of money to be able to finance your dreams,
but you don't need a mountain of cash. You just need enough
freedom chips to keep going.
In the Outback and Beyond, more really is
less. More is the golden cage from which you have to escape. Conspicuous
consumption is your mortal enemy. It can take you into custody
and put you in a golden cage that is a million miles from where you
really want to be. It can keep you from ever living your
dreams.
Less is better when you live in the Outback
and Beyond. If you want to live your dreams and experience the
freedom that comes with having less things in your life, then you
are ready to head for the Outback and Beyond.
When dreams are born, you must take care of
them in the intensive care unit of your mind or they will die. The only way to
keep your dreams alive is to work on them every day. If you
keep your dreams alive, they will keep you alive, and your life will
be worth living.
Now is the time to live your dreams. Now
is the time to head out into the Outback and Beyond.
