Oh chute, I think we're in trouble.

Come back to this page
in the future if you want to hear about Exit Only getting caught in
a Squash Zone three hundred miles north of New Zealand. We had
to lay to our parachute sea anchor for about nineteen hours while
the storm was blowing. We took a licking but Exit Only kept on
ticking. For now, the storm story is tucked away in the
recesses of my mind. I will upload the parachute sea anchor
story after the Exit Only is no longer in the boatyard at Monty's
Marina. Until then, you can check out these pictures of our
New Zealand Adventures.

created by glacier melt from the south island glaciers.

Our Defender 110 Land Rover made
it up the track to the top of Mount Tarawera, which is an extinct
volcano. On the way down from the mountain, we met a Land
Rover that was out of luck. His rear wheels had dropped into a
rut and he was sideways and high-sided, blocking the track up and
down the mountain. We rendered assistance. The track was
shut down for a couple of hours until the vehicle recovery was
complete.
